December 18, 2015 was the last day in the office for Vice President of Family and Community Services, Charlene K. Smith M.S, as she retired from SHIELDS after 25 years of service to our agency.
Her passion, dedication and hard work in providing outstanding services to the Children and Families in our community has made SHIELDS what it is today!
Retirement Celebration
To express our level of gratitude for the many years of leadership. We surprised Charlene during our Annual SHIELDS Holiday Reception on 12/18/15 that consisted of Ohio State Buckeyes theme along with recognition certificates from the office of Congresswoman Karen Bass and Assembly-member Mike Gipson. A surprise 30 minute film was presented, featuring SHIELDS programs, staff, past and present colleagues wishing her a warm farewell.
