The District is facing a 500 million dollar deficit, and sees the elimination of adult education as part of the fix-even though it only represents 2% of the total budget of 6.9 billion dollars. This means the displacement of 300,000 people (many parents of LAUSD children), who can help revive the economy and generate tax revenue back to the district. KEEP ADULT ED 100%.
